Family Photo update at last.

We went tonight and had our Family photo taken. Our last one was taken in November 1994.  We have expanded slightly.  I couldn't wait to share them.

From left to right in the back row: my Son James, my SIL Charlie and my Daughter Dawn
in the front row: my DH Steve and myself.

Here we have Grandma and Grandpa with Jordan(11)  in the back and Zack(9) over my left shoulder Mary(7) is hugging Grandpa and Hailey(4) is sitting on my lap.

From this picture you couldn't tell they see us everyday could you?  These are my little monkeys who live with us.  They bring so much joy to my life.

The other day Hailey wanted chocolate milk and it was about 1/2 hour before I needed to start dinner so I said well it is almost time for dinner so I think you should have something else right now.(otherwise she won't eat) Hailey says Pleeaassssse Grandma just a drip, I'm counting on you.  How do you say no to that?  And  where did she come up with that?  And how do you mix just a drip?

Thanks for letting me share my Family photo with you.

Need help choosing a color for your project?

I just went to to see if they posted who the winner was of the Cricut package they were giving away was and I couldn't find it.  But I did find and watch a video tutorial on a website to help you choose colors easier.  Click here to go to this site lets you search by key words, by palette and by patterns.

Check it out, this palette is called Vintage Christmas, it doesn't tell you the color name but I know Close TO My Heart has colors very close to these.
Vintage Christmas

I wish I would have known about this site before I made my Christmas cards this year.

I love my Cricut!!!

I made Zack very happy today.  I finally cut out a skull to put on his backpack for school.  He was getting ready for bed when I took this picture, and was a little embarrassed that he had no shirt on. Can you believe I actually got it all done in one day.  That never happens.

6 days till Christmas!!!

Wow, I am still working on my Christmas cards.

I have so much to share with you and don't even know where to start.  Jordan (my 11 year old Grandson) has been baking chocolate chip cookies.  He took some to his teacher and gave some to the ladies in the front office at his school.  Of course there is only 1 left.

Zack, Mary and Hailey made Snowman Candy Canes for their Teachers.
Aren't they cute?
They also played with a candy mold that looks like a starlight mint.

My Dear Hubby bought me the Cricut cartridge Very Merry Tags on the Black Friday sale and so I played last night making tags for all my presents.  I really like the Snowman and the big snowflake.

My Christmas Cards.

I said in my last post that I would be sharing my Christmas cards so here they are.  I decided to purchase one of the card kits From Close To My Heart, it is My Originals - Around the Holidays Card Kit. This Kit makes 12 cards and uses My Stickease stickers that you layer.

They were pretty easy to put together and they are cute, but I still prefer to make mine without a kit.  I send out about 50+ Christmas cards every year so this is just a few of my cards.

I made some from the Evensong Level 2 paper pack. I made 2 of each,  I took the Ideas for these cards from  the Wishes Book.  Greeting Card Workshop on page 111.  The Stamp sets I used were, D1366 - Holiday Trinkets, D1384 - Snow Flurries, D1320 - Shinning Star, D1388 - Card Chatter - Christmas and C1328 - Festive Frills.  I used Sorbet, Cranberry and New England Ivy inks.  A little Red Velvet Ribbon and some sparkles.

So I now have 32 of my 50+ cards and if I use the 9 from the Jingle kit I only have to make a few more.  I hope these give you some Ideas for your cards.  I am sorry it took me so long to get these posted.  I will try to post some of the Items I took to the 4 Bazaars that I did this year.  I normally do 2 Bazaars but when I got the opportunity to do more I jumped at it so that I could actually get some classes started.  It was Awesome, I have 12 people interested in my local classes, they start January 2, 2010, and will be held at the Beavercreek Telephone Company Meeting room on Henrici Rd, in Oregon City, OR. For more information on my classes call 503-708-6889 or email me
