60 years, that is amazing.

I took some time today to make a card for a 60th Wedding Anniversary. Wish I could go to their party.

I used the Artphilosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut the labels and flowers and leaves. I used Honey, Olive and Daisy White cardstock. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder and my Sizzix flower tools to give the flowers some dimension. I used New England Ivy marker to add lines to the leaves and scored them with a tiny stylus. I sponged the edges of the Swiss Dots embossed paper and the label with the Happy Anniversary stamped image. I took a Gold metallic marker and created a dotted line around the label. I tied an organza ribbon around the embossed paper before I adhered it to the card base. I almost forgot. I used Martha Stewart's clear micro beads to fill in the centers of the flowers, then I added some Liquid Glass to the petals and leaves to look like morning dew. I choose Yellow for the flowers because Hallmark Anniversary List said yellow was the color for 60 years.

I really need to start creating more, it's so relaxing.

Happy Scrappin',

Janice
